About Tina Langdok
Tina Langdok, PYT (500), E-RYT (200), AMT (200), MA-Spanish Lit is an internationally recognized and Accredited Mindfulness Teacher and Professional Yoga Therapist. Based in Milwaukee, WI, Tina has been practicing yoga and meditation for more than 45 years. Through study and exploration in various cultures, Tina has become expert in the healing potential of tuning into our minds and bodies with kindness, curiosity, and compassion.
As a yoga therapist, Tina is inspired by the Yoga philosophy of the Five Koshas or doorways to balance. The Koshas is a holistic model that recognizes the interconnectedness of the body, mind, and spirit. Her work focuses on connecting with the life force energy of the Prana doorway through gentle movement, breath practices, meditation, and deep relaxation.
Opportunities to work with Tina include online sessions through Zoom and in-studio at Trillium Studio, her home office in Milwaukee on the third floor of her home. Tina teaches eight-week courses in Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) as well as therapeutic yoga classes. Individual sessions are also available that combine Mindfulness and Yoga for a wide variety of client needs and diagnosis, including ALS, MS, Parkinson’s Disease, cancer, depression, cardiovascular disease, and anxiety. Tina’s work with Dr. Scott Stieber incorporating Yoga and Mindfulness into his experience with ALS is featured in the 12-minute film Pizza & Prana (link).
An avid traveler, Tina journeys to Peru regularly while teaching yoga and visiting temples in the Sacred Valley. As a board trustee of the Loisaba Community Conservation Foundation serving rural Kenya, Tina consults regularly with a Maasai women’s empowerment group called The Chui Mamas. In November 2022, Tina volunteered for a week at the Roberto Clemente Health Clinic near the city of Rivas, Nicaragua, combining her passions by teaching both mindfulness and yoga in Spanish to the staff and in the community.
